Meaning of State
Political organization of persons permanently residing on a certain territory, which is generally the law. Be bound by habit and practice. With independent sovereignty and control, it establishes international relations with other communities.

"A state whose political organization is effectively controlled by local residents and a government effectively controlled by the region."

State - A Geographical Unit
The state as a geographical unit consists of region and population which is tied into the thread of unity by political organization. In fact, the state is an integral part of the earth plane which has its own territory, which has its own form of political power and state administration.
The aim of the state is to protect the interests of the people by planned use of resources located in its territory. Each state has its own personality. The existence of each of the three elements of the state, such as land, population and organization, depends on each other.
A relationship or brotherhood creates a society and ultimately a state is formed in society. The power class has been the basis of organization and powerful classes have always subordinated the weaker sections.
Various communities developed agriculture by settling at one place, agricultural production increased through means agriculture, some specialized centers developed. It is clear that the state as a geographical unit is bounded by three facts about region, human and political organization.
These three facts are not separate from each other, but the existence of one depends on the other and it is possible to develop the state only through its collective form. These three elements are also the reason for the wide economic-political differences in the states in the present world.
The entire surface of the world and all human beings are related to some political entity which is known by the name of the state at present - the geographical and political form of different states of the world varies. The state, land, climate, vegetation, soil, agriculture, mineral industry, transportation and military and cultural status vary by state.
